My name is Walden Maurissaint. I graduated from Williams College with a B.A. in political science in 2007. For me, traveling to Taiyuan was a no-brainer: I get to immerse myself in a completely new cultural setting while exposing my students and colleagues to a snippet of Western culture. This is my first official role as a teacher and I’m genuinely excited about it. So far, I’m really enjoying my stay here and I’m looking forward to the challenge of learning Mandarin.By Walden Maurissaint
