弗莱德

“Why would you want to go to China, it’s so far away and you know nothing of China?” This is my mother´s first response when I told her I was moving to another country. I told her mom, that’s exactly why I’m going, I know nothing of this place and I want to know more and it’s just far enough away to feel like an adventure. My name is Fred, I´m an American and I´m 23 years old. In the last three I spent a year in South America studying and teaching English, a year in Spain teaching English and various months of traveling to random places. Traveling is my hobby I hope to do it for the rest of my life. Many people have asked me how long I plan to stay here for, and to be honest I don’t really know yet, I´m taking that question one year at a time. I learned a long time ago that every time you plan something the universe laughs at you and destroys it. I have only been in China for two months, at first it was a bit tough for me to adjust, but I am starting to settle in and I am beginning to really enjoy my stay here.
