My hobby

My name is Xu Ying. I’m 15 years old. I was born on July the third, 1994. Taiyuan is my hometown. I’m growing up here.

I like English, here is something of mine. When I was 8 years old, I started to study English. I t was very late. Many children started to study English at 3 or 4. But I think “Better late than never”. I did not like English first. My mother said: “Study hard! A young idler, an old beggar.”  Now, I study English harder than before. And my English is better than before. “As a man sows, so he shall reap.”

I like reading English books. I’ve got enough vocabulary. So, I can read English books by myself. The more I read, the good score I can get, and it can make me to get proud mind.

I like music very much. Wherever I go, I always carry a walkman with me. So that, I can listen my favorite songs.  The singer I like best is Wang Shaowei, because he is full of vigor. And he is good at singing English songs.

I like Tae kwon do very much. It’s a kind of martial arts from Korea. That is a great form of exercise. I practice regularly. It improves my flexibility, balance and strength. I learn Tae kwon do is not just for self-defense. The main reason is it can bring me much fun. I’m a girl who is filled with vitality.
